The sun rises over the tea plantation. Many workers are in the fields, picking tea leaves. They work hard every day, but they are not happy. They are tired, and their pay is too little.
One day, the workers decide to talk to the owner of the plantation. "We need more money," they say. "We work long hours, and the work is hard." But the owner shakes his head. "No, I cannot pay you more," he says.
The workers are upset. They talk to each other. "We must do something," says one worker. "If we stop working, the owner will listen to us."
The next morning, the workers do not go to the fields. They stand together in front of the plantation. "We want fair pay!" they shout. The tea leaves stay on the plants, and no one picks them.
The owner sees the workers. He is worried. Without workers, he cannot sell tea. He talks to the workers. "Why do you stop working?" he asks.
"We need fair pay," they say again. "We work hard, but we do not get enough."
The owner thinks about it. He knows the workers are important. He wants the plantation to run smoothly. Finally, he says, "You are right. I will give you more pay."
The workers cheer. They are happy now. They go back to the fields and pick the tea leaves. The plantation is full of work again, and everyone feels better.
The owner learns a lesson. He knows the workers deserve fair pay for their hard work.
