13. A Proud Camel

In the hot desert, there is a big camel named Omar. Omar has a tall hump on his back. He walks through the desert with other animals, like goats and lizards.

Omar is very proud of his hump. "My hump is special," he says. "It carries water and fat. I never get thirsty in the desert!"

One day, the animals go on a long journey. The sun is hot, and the sand is dry. The goats and lizards get tired quickly. "We are so thirsty!" they say. They stop to rest under a small tree.

But Omar keeps walking. "I don’t need water," he says proudly. "My hump carries all I need!" He walks tall and strong across the hot desert.

Later, the goats find a small stream. They drink water and feel better. "Omar, come drink with us!" they say.

But Omar shakes his head. "No, I am fine. My hump takes care of me," he says with a smile. He feels proud.

As the journey continues, the goats and lizards get thirsty again. But Omar still feels strong. He walks with his head high. "I am the king of the desert," he thinks. "I do not need water like the others."

At the end of the day, the sun sets, and the air cools down. Omar feels happy. He looks at his hump and smiles. "My hump is great," he says. "It helps me in the desert, and I am never thirsty."
