21. A Young Chess Player

There is a young boy named Alex. He is ten years old. Alex loves to play chess. He learns the game from his father. They play together every evening.

Alex is very good at chess. He understands the rules well. He thinks about each move carefully. His friends at school notice his talent. "You should join the chess club!" they say.

One day, Alex joins the chess club. He meets other kids who love chess too. They play games and learn new strategies. Alex feels happy. He makes new friends who enjoy chess as much as he does.

The club has a big tournament coming up. Alex practices every day. He plays against stronger players. He learns from each game. "I want to win the tournament," he thinks.

As the tournament goes on, Alex wins many games. Soon, he reaches the final match. His heart beats fast. He plays against a very strong opponent. The game is intense.

Alex thinks carefully about each move. He uses all his skills. Finally, he makes a great move and wins the game! Everyone cheers for him. "You are the champion!" they say.

Alex feels proud. He is now known as a chess prodigy. He loves the game even more. He wants to keep learning and playing chess for many years to come.
