3. A Wanted Criminal

The police are looking for a criminal. He has stolen money from a bank. The police know his name — Mark. They search the city for him. Mark is hiding, but he knows the police are getting close.

One day, the police get a tip. Someone sees Mark near a park. The police hurry to the park. They see Mark walking down the street. When Mark sees the police cars, he starts to run.

The police chase him. They run fast, but Mark runs faster. He tries to hide in an alley, but the police are smart. They block the other end of the alley with their cars.

Mark is trapped. He looks around, but there is no way out. The police tell him to put his hands up. Mark knows he cannot escape. He raises his hands, and the police arrest him.

The police take Mark to the station. The city is safe again, and the people thank the police for catching the criminal.
