6. A Cat and Her Kittens

Mia is a mother cat. She has three little kittens. The kittens are soft and cute. Mia loves her kittens very much.

One day, Mia looks for her kittens. "Where are my kittens?" she asks. She cannot find them. Mia searches the house. She looks under the table. She looks behind the sofa. The kittens are not there.

Mia thinks about where they could be. She remembers they like to play. They play with a ball of yarn. She goes to the living room.

Mia sees a small paw under the curtain. “Oh, there you are!” she says. The kittens play with the yarn. They roll and jump. Mia smiles. She watches them closely.

Suddenly, one kitten gets stuck in the yarn. Mia runs over. “Don’t worry, little one,” she says. She gently helps the kitten. The kitten is free.

Mia licks her kittens and purrs. “I will always take care of you,” she says. The kittens purr back. They feel happy and safe.
