Borin is a dwarf. He loves to dig for gold. Every day, he goes deep into the mountains with his pickaxe. The tunnels are dark, but Borin knows them well. He digs here for many years.
Today, Borin feels lucky. He swings his pickaxe and hits the rock. The sound echoes in the tunnel. After a few hits, he sees something shiny. It is gold! Borin smiles. He digs faster and pulls the gold out of the rock.
As he works, Borin thinks about what to do with the gold. Maybe he will buy new tools or have a big feast with his friends. The gold shines in the dim light of the tunnel. Borin fills his bag and keeps digging.
Borin knows there is more gold to find. He never gets tired of searching. Every day is a new adventure, and he loves to find treasure in the earth.
